WHAT IS IT?
Micro needling is an effective treatment to regenerate the skin tissue to recreate new skin tissue by damaging the top layer of skin with a micro needling pen.
WHO BENEFITS MOST FROM THE SERVICE?
Micro needling stimulates collagen and elastin production which thickens and tightens thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Because it boots collagen, is also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone.
WHAT TO EXPECT OVERALL?
The area being treated will have a topical anesthetic cream applied one hour before treatment to eliminate any discomfort during the treatment. Using a micro needling tip to puncture the skin with multiple holes to channel into the skin. The needles are constantly moving in and out to penetrate in and out of the skin. After treatment is completed, skin is red (similar to sunburn) for a couple of days, skin feels warm, may have some slight pin point bleeding, possible swelling. Staying out of the sun and protecting the raw skin with SPF is very important to prevent any hyperpigmentation. No make up for a few days until the skin is closed and healed up.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Micro needling therapy uses pin point injections to accelerate the healing of skin tissue. There are several ways to add a bonus of “liquid gold” to the skin with PRP combined with Micro needling, this releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces. We can use Hyaluronic acid to the skin as a pumping treatment with micro needling. There are a few different options that can be combined with Micro needling.
