HYALURONIC DIS SOLVENT & CORRECTOR
What is it?
Hyaluronidase is made up of a family of enzymes that accelerate the deterioration of hyaluronic acid. This means that it breaks down the hyaluronic acid into the body for absorption to release through the lymphatic system. This is a great tool to use if you have been treated with too much hyaluronic acid in certain areas or if you are not pleased with the outcome of your dermal fillers. They can be dissolved completely over a few visits “if” you were injected with a temporary filler. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved but permanent and semi permanent fillers cannot be dissolved.
Who Benefits the most with the service?
Anyone that has changed their mind on the amount of volume, improper treatment or someone not satisfied with the treatment they received. Someone that has been doing filler for a long time with a lot of different product of fillers leaving bumps underneath the skin is also a great candidate for dissolving HA.
How Does it work?
The hyaluronidase is injected into the area with a small needle to release the liquid into the hyaluronic acid to breakdown the filler to dissolve out of the body naturally.
What to Expect overall?
It is important to do a patch test first to make sure there is no allergic reaction to the dis solvent. It is a genetically designed protein used as an aid to helping your body absorb other injected liquids such as dermal fillers. Common side effects of hyaluronidase include, injection site reactions (pain, itching, redness, tenderness, or swelling).
Are dissolving fillers safe? Like fillers themselves, this treatment uses a naturally occurring bodily material, this treatment is very safe. However, there is a small risk of an allergic reaction to the hyaluronidase injected. Patch test is highly recommended to avoid any further complications.
